The labyrinth at Canonteign Falls

We had the pleasure of building a labyrinth at Canonteign Falls to mark a couple’s milestone birthdays. Designed by world-renowned maze maker Adrian Fisher, the labyrinth is a symbol of life’s journey, its winding paths representing the stages we move through. Set among ancient woodland, waterfalls and lakes in the heart of the Devon countryside, it was a magical setting for an extraordinary project. Despite the challenges of the weather, we were proud to bring the design to life in such a remarkable place, and we hope it will be enjoyed by everyone who visits.

Timber deck renovation on Dartmoor

We worked with a couple settling into a newly bought home in the heart of Dartmoor. They were worried about their old timber deck, which had rotted and become dangerously slippery with embedded algae. Understanding the character of their stone-built property, we agreed that a new timber deck would suit it best. We carefully dismantled and responsibly removed the old deck, then worked around the limited access, tight storage and the building’s unusual shape to fit the new one. The result is a safe, beautiful space where they can relax and take in the far-reaching views of the Devon countryside.
